Riding Horses

All our riding horses have gone through stringent checks and a period of readjustment when they first come to the Centre.

When Nigel is satisfied that the horse is ready and safe to move beyond the assessment stage, the team starts a personalised programme of retraining.

Once Nigel is happy with the horse’s development and deems them ready to be rehomed as a riding horse then we try to match them with a rider as closely as possible. We encourage potential re-homers to come and meet and try their new best friend as often as they can, to begin to forge a lifelong partnership.

Catalyze, AKA Charlie, is a 15.3, 16 year old bay gelding. Charlie's racing career included, 4 wins and 8 placings. He is a super healthy boy with no lumps or bumps. We would love to find him his forever home. Suited to hacking and low-level competition.

Mouse is a lovely 9 year old, 15.2 hh bay mare. She has never raced but she is looking for her next home with an experienced rider. In the right hands, she could excel in most disciplines.
